There are many genealogy and family history related meetings, seminars and conferences that take place locally throughout the year. We will be posting those we know about and if you have others, please let us know so we can post them. We are also posting local genealogical meetings. Unless otherwise noted, these meetings are free and open to the public!!

Collin County Genealogy Society

We have a DNA Interest Group that meets on the first Tuesday of each month. We have a Legacy Users Group that meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. And we are adding a Microsoft OneNote for Genealogy User Group that will meet on the third Monday of each month.

Dallas Genealogical Society

4/20 (Saturday), 3 p.m.: Save Your Memories (Legacy Lab). Learn more about the new digital conversion equipment in the Legacy Lab that can be used to preserve your family history by converting your photos, home videos and paper documents to digital format.
